Situations considered to be financial difficulties and in which you can benefit from alternative solutions:

You had/have health problems or family problems (divorce, death of close relatives or of some of the loan participants);

You have financial difficulties that have led to a decrease in income, compared to when the loan was granted;

You have lost your job or all sources of income on the basis of which you obtained the loan;

You have temporarily lost your sources of income (technical unemployment, unpaid leave, etc.);

Types of Solutions for People

In financial difficulty

You can benefit from the following restructuring solutions (individual or cumulative):

Reduction of the monthly payment rate for a maximum period of 24 months. The decrease can be made up to 30% of the current value of the loan rate subject to restructuring, depending on the situation faced by the participants in repaying the loan;

Extending the credit period (the client’s age cannot exceed 70 years at the final maturity of the credit);

Granting a debt consolidation loan – the accumulation of several BCR loan products in a single loan (resulting in a reduction of the customer’s monthly financial effort);

Granting a grace period (3 months maximum, with the possibility of extension for another 3 months

This restructuring treatment can only be applied for the total loss of repayment sources);

Credit Conversion

Important

The granting of a restructuring treatment or treatments entails their reporting to the Credit Bureau.

Consequences arising from the process of reporting to the Credit Bureau may vary depending on the policy of BCR or other banks. Credit institutions may reserve the right to stop granting new loans until the restructuring treatment is completed or until the monitoring period expires, as the case may be.
